Nollywood actress and singer Stella Damascus and Yinka Lawanson aka Lamboginny have been appointed as ambassadors by the National Law and Drug Enforcement Agency, NDLEA. This idea is novel in the history of the drugs busting agency.
At their formal presentation yesterday at the Lagos headquarters of the NDLEA, the DG, Dr. Femi Ajayi, said Stella and Lamboginny were chosen after painstaking deliberations and considerations of their outstanding positive impacts on youths and the society at large.
While unveiling the new ambassadors, the DG said, “having said this, it is our pleasure to appoint them as our ambassadors, hoping that they will continue with the good work and help reach out to the youths.”
In their separate reactions, after the presentation of certificates to them by the agency, Stella and Lamboginny promised not to relent on their efforts, adding that they will do all within their reach to assist the agency and its officials in achieving their primary objectives.
