Farouk Lawan and Boniface Emenalo were this morning granted bail by an Abuja High Court.
Today marks exactly a week after they were arrested and held in prison for collecting N93 million bribe from Femi Otedola to remove his company, Zenon Oil, from the list of indicted companies.
The Judge granted the two men bail on the sum of N10 million and asked them to relinquish their international passports to the court. They are only allowed to travel out of the country with the court’s permission.
The case has been fixed for April 10 and 17 for hearing.
