Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole would have died yesterday after a bus lost control and crashed into his car along Auchi-Benin Road yesterday.
The governor miraculously escaped death alongside his aide-de-camp (ADC) and driver in the accident whichÂ occurred at Ewu village.
Sunday Vanguard learnt that the impact of the accident left Oshiomholeâ€™s vehicle damaged beyond repairs.
The governor was said to be returning from his Iyamho village when the crashÂ occurred around 9.45 a.m.
This is the second time withinÂ aÂ year that Oshiomholeâ€™s convoy will be involved in an accident.
The first time, a tipper rammed into his car and another vehicle conveying the media crewÂ in his convoy, killing some journalists.
