Photos + Video: Snow Falls In Egypt For The First Time in 112 Years

A lot of Egyptians did not expect a white Christmas, but that is what they will be getting this year after 112 years. That means a lot of persons alive right now in Egypt have never seen it snow in the country. Amazing!

Cairo has been transformed into a winter wonderland after a “historic” storm in the Middle East brought a rare treat to Egypt’s capital Friday: a blanket of powdery, white snow.

The city averages less than an inch of rain each year, and hundreds stopped their walk to work or school to snap pictures of the falling flakes, tweeting their delights.

So when can we expect this to happen in Nigeria? I bet some persons can’t wait. It is no longer impossible now!
